A Spring Like No Other!

Spring is Here!

Despite the mild winter, it still felt like an eternity waiting for the warmer weather, vaccines and a chance for life to return to the outdoors. While us mere mortals may have been waiting for spring to come out of our shells, the market certainly didn't wait for anyone. The past two winters have seen an earlier and earlier start to the spring market but neither of them provided enough inventory for demand; even more so this year.

With the tantalizing interest rates we saw through the second half of 2020, buyers never really took the winter off and December ended up being my busiest month of the whole fall/winter season! Now that rates have come up just a touch and inventory is starting to open up again, I'm seeing even more action out in the field. The market of Greater Boston and beyond will always lean towards a seller's market; there simply isn't enough new construction and too many people for that to ever change easily but fear not, there are opportunities out there for buyers too!

While in some markets sellers are seeing offers hit double digits, if you know where to look competition is less fierce and more buyer friendly. Either way, my advice for all my clients is to just get out there! You'll never find your next home if you don't spend the time looking with your trusted advisor (that's me!) and putting in offers. Sure, it might take a couple attempts but with the right tactics and tools you'll be on your way to closing on your next home in no time.

If you're just starting to think about buying your first home, let's setup a quick call so I can help you prepare. Whether you're 3 months or 3 years away, I'm available to educate you on the market and the process. If you want to get a head start and read about it, checkout this blog series over on my site.

I promise to only remind you a few times a year, so don't forget that my business relies solely on word of mouth referrals to grow; so if you or anyone you know is looking to buy, sell or simply learn more about the real estate market, please let me know. With your help I can continue to help others reach their real estate goals!

Thank you as always and stay well.

By the way...

As a small business owner, my main goal is always to help the community - while often times that is through helping the people within it to buy and sell homes, other times it's possible to use my connections to help other communities, like the MSPCA animal shelter!

This year I am helping my partner Rachel, to raise money for the 2021 Fast & Furriest Fundraiser! Your donations will go directly to providing care for the animals at the shelter, to help find them new homes and to help educate the public and provide free resources for those in need of support.

Walle my construction buddy, as a rescue pup himself, will appreciate any help you can send along to the MSPCA!
